Refund Policy




Park Rentals: No refunds will be made unless notification of cancellation is given 14 calendar days in advance. The processing fee for all reservation refunds is $25. There is a $20 charge for changes of date or location. Any date change must also be received 14 calendar days in advance.

Programs:  
Refunds are available as noted below unless otherwise stated in the program description.

- Refunds will be given as account credit (must be used within one year), to be used towards upcoming programming or rentals, or by credit card or check.
- The processing fee for credit or check refunds for all programs is $10. For any program less than $10, only an account credit will be given.
- There is no processing fee for a Town account credit or a program cancelled by the town, or a program transfer.
- Credit card or check refund requests are processed on a monthly basis and must be approved by the Gates Town Board.  Requests must be received in writing and may take up to 5 weeks to process.

- Credit Card transactions cannot be reimbursed after 180 days.  After 180 days, the only options are an account credit or check refund.
- If a program is cancelled by the Town, a full refund will be issued.
- A medical refund must be accompanied by note from physician. Refunds will be prorated from date of injury/accident minus a $10 processing fee.
- Participants may withdraw from a program up to 7 days prior to the start date of a program. An account credit or a refund will be issued minus a $10 processing fee.  Refunds will not be given for anything except medical reasons within 7 days of the start of a program.
- Refunds will not be given for missed classes or to anyone who registers for a program but does not
  attend.

- Once a program has ended refunds will not be given for any reason.
- Classes cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances are not eligible for credit or refund. If possible, make-ups will be scheduled.
