Historical Boat Trip • Register • View Cart •

Trip includes transportation to and from the Gates Town Hall (arrive at 9:15am for Trip 1 or 11:00am for trip 2), two-hour boat trip (Trip 1: 10am-noon. Trip 2: noon-2pm), and goodie bag. Trip will be led by Town Historian Bill Gillette & Former Gates Police Chief Jim VanBrederode.

The Erie Canal Bicentennial presents a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the canal that transformed America and to commemorate its influence on New York and the nation. The Town of Gates will be offering a boat trip designed to highlight the portion of the canal that goes through our town.
